Health Sync (Fitbit Bridge) · Effective 6 October 2026

Health Sync for Fitbit ("the app") is published by Reliable Softwares ("we"). This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Summary

The app moves your own health data from your Google Health account to Apple Health on your device. We do not operate a server for the app, and we never receive, store, sell or share your health data.

Data the app accesses from Google

When you sign in with Google, you can grant the app read-only access to these Google Health API scopes:

The app cannot change or delete anything in your Google account.

How the data is used

The data is used only to write the same records into Apple Health (on Android, Health Connect) on the device where you use the app. Requests go directly from your device to Google's servers over an encrypted connection; nothing passes through our systems.

Data stored on your device

The app asks Apple Health for permission to write data only. It reads back only records it wrote itself, so it can replace them on the next sync instead of creating duplicates. It never reads health data from other apps or devices.

How Google user data is used

Google user data obtained through the scopes above is used for one purpose only: to provide the app's user-facing feature of copying your data into Apple Health (or Health Connect) on your device, at your request, when you tap Sync. It is processed in memory on your device and is not retained by the app after it has been written. It is not transferred to us or to any third party, not used for advertising, not used to determine credit-worthiness or for lending, and not used to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models. No human, including us, reads it.

Data retention

We retain no user data, because none reaches us. On your device, the sign-in token is kept until you sign out or delete the app; the last-sync times are kept until you delete the app. Records written into Apple Health or Health Connect stay there until you delete them.

Security

All communication with Google uses HTTPS (TLS). Sign-in uses Google's OAuth 2.0 with PKCE through the system browser, so the app never sees your Google password. The sign-in token is stored in the iOS Keychain / Android Keystore, encrypted by the operating system.

Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent or transfer your data to anyone. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. Health data is never used for advertising, marketing, credit decisions or to train AI or machine-learning models.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Health Sync's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data and revoking access

Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
